Hotel Availability & Confirmation

Hotel availability is checked at the time of inquiry. While we strive to secure the proposed hotels, final confirmation depends on availability upon receiving your confirmation and timely payment. Full payment must be received at least 14 days prior to arrival in Sri Lanka and 30 days prior to arrival in the Maldives. To avoid inconvenience, we recommend arranging credit facilities in advance.

If payment is delayed, hotel availability will be subject to confirmation at the time of receipt. Should the proposed hotel be unavailable, a similar category hotel will be arranged, and a supplement may apply. We are not responsible for hotel cancellations due to late payments or alternative hotel arrangements made in such cases.

Important Notes

  • Meal Plan: Provided as booked.
  • Breakfast: Starts from the second day.
  • Half Board: Covers dinner on arrival day to breakfast on departure day.
  • Full Board: Covers lunch on arrival day to breakfast on departure day.

Additional Services & Conditions

  • Optional excursions and extra services can be arranged at an additional cost.
  • Activities such as wildlife safaris and adventure excursions are undertaken at the client’s own risk.
  • Safari vehicles are non-air-conditioned and offer basic insurance coverage.

Cancellation Policy

  • 21 days or less before arrival – 100% cancellation charge.
  • 22–28 days before arrival – 50% cancellation charge.
  • 29 days or more before arrival – No cancellation charge.

Children’s Policy

  • Below 2 years – Complimentary stay.
  • Ages 2–11 (with extra bed) – 50% of the adult rate (when sharing a room with parents).
  • Ages 2–11 (without extra bed) – 25% of the adult rate (when sharing a room with parents).

Hotel Confirmation & Policies

  • Final hotel confirmation is subject to payment receipt.
  • If a hotel becomes unavailable after booking, we will secure an alternative accommodation, but refunds or compensation will not be provided. This also applies to last-minute bookings.

Hotel Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: 14:00 hrs
  • Check-out: 12:00 hrs
  • Early check-in/late check-out: Subject to availability and hotel discretion. Requests can be made where necessary.
  • Cancellation charges apply for reductions in allocated or blocked rooms after the release period.

Visa Procedure

As per Sri Lanka’s visa policy effective January 1, 2012, all tourists must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before arrival. The application must be submitted online at www.eta.gov.lk
